Dr Ng Ee Lynn is Senior Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Child Development at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Her research aims to identify ways to support children’s learning in the classroom. Utilizing experimental and correlational approaches, she explores the impact of individual differences in executive functioning and self-regulation skills, as well as contextual factors like socio-economic status, teacher well-being, and preschool quality on children's learning outcomes. Dr Ng has delivered keynote and invited addresses in Singapore to share with parents, educators, and other stakeholders about the importance of building self-regulation skills in early childhood.
