JANICE LEONG has 12 years of experience working with students with disabilities and their families. Her role started as a Speech-Language Therapist working closely with students and their families. Her special areas of interests include Pediatric Feeding Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and Best Practices in Early Intervention. In her capacity as the Deputy Director of Early Intervention at Rainbow Centre, Janice is also involved in the management and leadership of the staff in the programme, and is especially inspired when high quality collaborative teams are built to journey alongside families of the students.
