(translation: Let's Play Together! A Relational Approach to Building An Inclusive Classroom Community)
(translation: When you think about creating an inclusive classroom environment, what are the steps and procedures that comes to your mind? Do you rely on existing policies in the sector, or do you consider strategies that others have adopted successfully?
The key to creating an inclusive classroom environment is more than just the policies and procedures. Most importantly, it is built on the relationships and connections between teachers and students. That's why Let's Play Together! workshop is an open invitation to preschool educators who are looking to co-create a toolkit of strategies to build a more inclusive and engaging classroom community.
In this workshop, we will take a relational approach to learning, focusing on developing strong, positive relationships between teachers and students. Through a series of playful and creative activities, we will explore how to release work stress, manage burnout and tension, and develop greater empathy and understanding for children with diverse needs, as a community of playful educators. The shift in mindset to becoming co-players and co-learners alongside children can lead to a more dynamic and engaging classroom environment, where children feel supported and empowered to learn and grow.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a deeper understanding of the importance of play, creativity, and relational competence in creating an inclusive classroom environment. In addition, participants will have opportunities to network and connect with one another, fostering a sense of community and support beyond the workshop itself.)
