Elaine is a passionate advocate for the crucial role of the arts in children's development. With a Masters in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Australia and a current PhD candidate with Griffith University, Elaine's research explores the use of playful and dramatic pedagogies to engage children as active global citizens. With over 25 years of experience, Elaine has worked with children, families, and early childhood practitioners from around the world, sharing her pedagogy and promoting a holistic approach to education. Through her work with The Learning Connections and her collaborations with institutions such as Singapore's Early Childhood Development Agency and National Arts Council, Elaine has successfully implemented numerous drama/ theatre-based initiatives that have positively impacted children's overall development. Her passion for nurturing the next generation of active global citizens is fueled by her belief that every child deserves the opportunity to grow and learn in an inclusive and creative environment.
