Charleen has over 11 years of dedicated experience as an Early Childhood Educator. She is passionate about play-based learning and strives to create a fun and engaging environment where children develop a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. Charleen studied Early Childhood Education with Psychology at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). She is currently working at EtonHouse Garden School by the Bay as a Nursery 1 teacher. Previously, she spent 2 years at EtonHouse Islander, where she valued her time and learned a variety of skills. The words of Nelson Mandela, “Children of today are the leaders of tomorrow,” guide her teaching philosophy. Charleen is committed to equipping young minds with the skills, attitudes, and mindsets necessary for future success, focusing on both academic achievement and the development of social and emotional skills essential for forming deep and meaningful relationships. Charleen views children as capable, competent, and creative individuals. By fostering a supportive and dynamic classroom atmosphere, she inspires children to become lifelong learners and active contributors to society.
